Community invited to learn about referendum

The Hamilton School District has scheduled two presentations for residents to learn more about the proposed referendum. The first will be Jan. 22 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Sussex Civic Center, N64 W23760 Main St., Sussex. Superintendent Paul Mielke, Ph.D., and Business Services Assistant Superintendent Bryan Ruud will speak about the referendum and answer questions.

Hamilton DECA earns 84 awards at district competition, qualifies 23 for state

A total of 48 Hamilton High School DECA members represented the district Jan. 6 at the Southeastern Wisconsin Career Development Conference at J. I. Case High School in Racine. Hamilton’s DECA group earned 84 awards and 23 students qualified for state competition. This surpasses last year’s record of 18 qualifiers.
